Lewis Hamilton discusses lifetime contract with Mercedes

With the Formula 1 season drawing to a close – races in Bahrain this weekend and the next and final in Abu Dhabi on 13 December – there are still five driver places to confirm in 2021 and one of them is the of the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton.
The renewal of the Briton by Mercedes was practically tackled after winning the seventh world title in Turkey, but it can only be signed after the season is over – “It will be until the end of the year”, revealed Toto Wolff, team director, to the “Kronen Zeitung” – as the duration of the agreement has yet to be defined. The values will not be new, as they should be around 47 million euros a year that the world champion already wins.
